Colin Jackson is the best hurdler Britain has produced, and one of Wales' greatest athletes from any discipline. The Cardiff-born athlete will bring his 18-year career to an end after the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham in March 2003 and will probably still win A four times European Champion, world champion and Olympic silver medallist; Colin has held the world record since 1991 with a stunning 12.91 seconds Colin remains a true star of athletics and a wonderful ambassador for Wales and Great Britain; he was awarded an MBE in 1990 for his services to athletics.
